How should I clean or take care of my Hoaka?


Hoaka Swimwear is made of high-quality neoprene. This fabric is the same one used to make wetsuits which makes our swimsuits perfect for watersports!

There are a few things that you should know about how to take care of your new neoprene swimsuit. You can also follow the same instructions for your Ecohoaka items.


Do's DO's

  • Hand wash your Hoaka in cold water with mild detergent. 30 Degreehand wash
  • Lay your swimwear in a flat position to dry to prevent folds and wrinkles.
  • Place a towel or fabric on the top of your swimwear to iron it.

Don'ts DON'Ts

  • Do not use in the washing machine or tumble dry. Do not tumble dry
  • Do not iron directly on the fabric. Do not iron directly
  • Do not wear it in a hot tub, the chemicals used as well as the warm temperature can damage your swimsuit.
  • Do not use sunblock, sunscreen and body oil, it could damage the fabric.
  • Do not sit directly on a rough surface such as the concrete beside a swimming pool, it may snag the fabric.
  • Do not leave it to dry under the sun, it could damage the color.
